Sangha House NOLA invites you to a special screening of The Dhamma Brothers (2008), a powerful documentary that explores the intersection of personal transformation and systemic change. Set in a maximum-security prison in Alabama, this inspiring film tells the story of inmates who embark on a journey of healing and self-liberation through the ancient practice of Vipassana meditation.

Through the lens of The Dhamma Brothers, we’ll reflect on the deep connection between internal and external struggles for liberation. The teachings of the Buddha Dharma remind us that freedom begins within—but its ripple effects can transform entire systems and communities.
